A free pass to take fewer steps
The need for 10,000 steps was made up for 1960s pedometer marketing, but research from Poland says as few as 3,967 daily steps reduces your risk of early death, and even 2,337 steps will still help you decrease your risk of dying from cardiovascular disease. So it is A-OK if you’re having a slower day.
